It is not a village founded at a known date but a group of scattered farm buildings: as late as 1950 La Lécherette was an exclusively agricultural area. Its development dates from the opening of a first ski lift at Les Eraisis in 1958, after which several families, first from Lausanne, built chalets there. The sources consulted name no founder.
